The Euphorbia trigona, often called Green African Milk Tree, is a striking succulent known for its upright, thick, angular stems and rich green coloration. Small green leaves grow along its spiny stems, creating a highly architectural and exotic appearance. Over time, it can develop multiple branches and become an impressive large specimen.

Light:

Thrives in very bright light and enjoys several hours of direct or gentle sunlight each day. Excellent lighting encourages strong, compact, and healthy growth.

Water:
Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Then water thoroughly and allow all excess water to drain. Reduce watering significantly during winter. It tolerates being too dry much better than being overwatered.

Prefers low humidity and adapts very well to normal household or office conditions. 

Good to know:

Despite its cactus-like appearance, Euphorbia trigona is not a true cactus. It belongs to the Euphorbiaceae family. Its naturally upright and branching growth can develop into a beautiful sculptural specimen as it matures.
