The Ficus deltoidea is a distinctive and decorative tropical Ficus known for its small, thick, rounded to triangular glossy green leaves. Its naturally branching, compact growth gives it a very different appearance from more traditional indoor Ficus varieties. It can also produce small round yellow to orange figs, adding even more character to the plant.

Light:

Thrives in bright, indirect light. Excellent lighting encourages dense growth and may help promote the production of its small fruits. Avoid intense direct sunlight. 

Water:
Water when the top few inches of soil begin to dry. Water thoroughly and allow all excess water to drain. Avoid keeping the soil constantly waterlogged.

Appreciates moderate to high humidity but generally adapts well to normal household or office conditions.

Good to know:

Ficus deltoidea is commonly known as the Mistletoe Fig because of its distinctive foliage. Unlike many Ficus grown primarily for their leaves, it can produce small decorative figs directly along its branches. These fruits are ornamental and are not intended for consumption.
