The Ficus lyrata, commonly known as the Fiddle-Leaf Fig, is a spectacular tropical plant known for its very large, glossy, deep-green leaves shaped like a lyre or violin. Its impressive foliage and upright growth give it an elegant, architectural appearance. Over time, it can develop into a beautiful indoor tree and makes an excellent statement plant for homes, offices, and commercial spaces.

Light:

Thrives in very bright, indirect light. It can enjoy a few hours of gentle sunlight, particularly morning sun, when gradually acclimated. Excellent lighting encourages strong growth and large, healthy foliage.

Water:
Water when the top few inches of soil begin to dry. Water thoroughly and allow all excess water to drain completely. Avoid overwatering and major changes in watering frequency. 

Appreciates moderate to high humidity and good air circulation. Avoid placing it directly beside heating sources or cold drafts.

Good to know:

Ficus Lyrata appreciates stability. Sudden changes in light, temperature, watering, or location may cause spotting or leaf drop. Once well acclimated, it can develop exceptionally large leaves and become an impressive specimen.
