The Ficus pumila, commonly known as the Creeping Fig, is an attractive tropical climbing and trailing plant known for its small, delicate, heart-shaped leaves and fast-growing habit. Its long stems can cascade beautifully from a hanging pot or climb along a support, trellis, or wall using small aerial roots.

Light:

Thrives in medium to bright indirect light. Good lighting encourages dense, compact growth. Avoid intense direct sunlight, particularly during the hottest part of the day.

Water:
Water when the surface of the soil begins to dry slightly. Ficus Pumila prefers slightly moist soil and is less tolerant of prolonged dryness than many other Ficus varieties. However, avoid keeping the roots in waterlogged soil.

Appreciates moderate to high humidity. Good ambient humidity encourages dense foliage and helps prevent its small leaves from drying out.

Ficus Pumila can be grown as either a trailing or climbing plant. When allowed to climb, its stems can naturally attach themselves to surfaces using aerial roots. Choose its support carefully, as it can adhere strongly to certain surfaces.
