The Maranta Lemon Lime is a beautiful tropical plant prized for its striking lime-green and deep-green patterned foliage. Its oval leaves feature bright contrasting veins that create a spectacular appearance. As the plant matures, its growth habit gradually becomes fuller and more trailing.

Light:

Prefers medium to bright, indirect light. Avoid intense direct sunlight, which can scorch or fade the foliage.

Water:
Keep the soil slightly moist without allowing it to become waterlogged. Water when the surface begins to dry slightly. Marantas can be sensitive to mineral buildup in water; filtered, rain, or low-mineral water may help prevent brown leaf tips.

Appreciates moderate to high humidity. Good ambient humidity helps maintain lush foliage and reduces crispy or dry leaf edges.

Good to know:

Maranta is commonly called a “Prayer Plant” because of the natural movement of its leaves. They tend to rise upward in the evening and lower again during the day in response to changes in light.
