The Olive Tree (Olea europaea) is an iconic Mediterranean tree prized for its fine grey-green foliage with beautiful silvery undertones, increasingly textured trunk as it matures, and elegant, timeless appearance. It instantly creates a beautiful Mediterranean atmosphere on a patio, balcony, or in a very bright indoor space.

Please note: Every Olive Tree is unique. Height, trunk shape, foliage density, and coloration may naturally vary from one specimen to another. The presence of flowers or olives depends on maturity, season, and growing conditions and is not guaranteed.

Light:

Olive Trees love light and perform best in full sun. Ideally, provide several hours of direct sunlight each day. Indoors, place the tree directly in front of your brightest window.

Water:
Allow a good portion of the soil to dry between waterings, then water thoroughly. Olive Trees tolerate slight dryness much better than overwatering. Excellent drainage is essential to prevent the roots from remaining constantly wet.

Prefers normal to relatively low humidity with good air circulation. Unlike many tropical plants, Olive Trees do not require high humidity.

Good to know:

A mature Olive Tree may produce small creamy-white flowers followed by olives when growing conditions are suitable.
