Light:

Prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate medium light, but brighter conditions encourage stronger growth and fuller foliage. Avoid intense direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Water:
Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain completely. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet or allowing the plant to sit in standing water.

Appreciates moderate to high humidity but generally adapts well to normal household conditions.

Good to know:

Money Trees are often sold with several young trunks braided together. The braid is created by growers and does not occur naturally. Under good conditions, the plant can become quite large and can be pruned to maintain a more compact, fuller shape.
