Light:

Prefers bright, indirect light. Good light helps maintain the colour and variegation of the foliage. It can tolerate medium light, but the leaves may become greener when light levels are too low. Avoid intense direct sunlight.

Water:
Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Avoid keeping the growing medium constantly wet.

Appreciates moderate humidity but generally adapts well to normal household conditions.

Good to know:

These varieties can look similar, but their variegation generally helps distinguish them. Gold Capella typically features prominent golden-yellow and green variegation. Trinette generally has lighter cream to pale-yellow and green variegation. Plants sold simply as Variegata may display different green, cream, or yellow patterns depending on the cultivar and grower.
