Scindapsus pictus is a beautiful tropical trailing plant known for its velvety, heart-shaped leaves. Its deep green foliage is decorated with striking silver spots and markings that give the leaves an almost metallic appearance.

Versatile and easy to display, it can be grown as a trailing plant or trained to climb a support.

Light:

Prefers bright, indirect light. It tolerates medium light, but brighter conditions encourage stronger growth and help maintain the beautiful silver markings. Avoid intense direct sunlight. 

Water:
Allow the top few centimeters of soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. Avoid keeping the growing medium constantly wet.

Appreciates moderate to high humidity but generally adapts well to normal household conditions.

Good to know:

Although commonly sold as Satin Pothos, Scindapsus pictus is not a true Pothos of the Epipremnum genus. Depending on the variety, the amount of silver colouring can vary considerably. It can be grown trailing or climbing, and its leaves may become larger when trained up a support.
